Dog friendly holidays

If you have a Rex, Rover, Jack or Mylo and are looking for a dog friendly holiday, why not give us try? Wooda Lakes welcomes well-behaved dogs in some of our lodges. With open spaces, coastal walks and beaches, why not bring your dog with you when you holiday with us? Your lodge has plenty of space for your dog bed or crate, and your walk starts at the door to your lodge! All we ask is that dogs are kept on a lead while out on site, that all mess is bagged and placed in a bin, that dogs are not allowed on sofas or beds, and that you do not leave your dog unattended in your lodge.
Up to two medium sized dogs are permitted in our Lakeside lodges 1, 2, 4 and 5, Woodland View 1 and 2, and Sunset 4. There is an additional charge for bringing your dog, so please note this on your booking.
Dogs are not permitted in our VIP lodges or Sunset 2.
Please remember that not everyone is comfortable around dogs, so please ensure your dog is under control at all times.

Dog friendly beaches

Dogs may be walked on most of the local beaches out of peak season (October to March). During the summer season, we can recommend the south end of Widemouth bay towards Blackrock as a dog-friendly beach.
At Widemouth bay there are toilets and a nice cafe for post-walkies refreshments! Car parking charges apply all year.

If your dog has an accident or illness while on holiday, there are a numbner of vets in Holsworthy. These include:
